OPEN FARM COMMUNITY SOCIAL MARKET : A CONVIVIAL WEEKEND FARMER’S MARKET

Happening : Saturday, 28th and Sunday, 29th November 2015

The revolutionary community food product, Open Farm Community will soon turn their grounds into its first-ever Social Market.  This Open Farm Community Social Market is set to be a convivial weekend farmer’s market where, we city dwellers, can develop a deeper and more meaningful relationship with our food.

Come Saturday, 28th November from 9am to 2.30pm and again Sunday, 29th November from 9am to 4pm the Open Farm Community Social Market will see picnic mats spread out across the garden space with booths along the lawn, heritage rain trees providing shade for the afternoon and an epicurean food truck on location too.

The Social Market will consist of approximately 25 vendors, including;

Edible Garden City; with a selection of house plants, sweet and sticky honey, and even homemade jams,

Cause-Croûte; the delicatessen offering cold cuts,

Selva Foods; with vegan friendly ace bowls packed with nutrients,

Kerbside Gourmet; which is Asia’s first gourmet food truck,

Morocco; for fine and beautifully homemade jams in familiar flavours such as Jackfruit and Lap Cheong.

There is sure to be a festive atmosphere and what a great place to pick up edible goodies for family and friends with a true Singaporean core.

If the foods are not enough to tempt you then how about the Tiki Takeover who will be serving up refreshing tipples, Crucycle will also be setting up outdoor yoga and spin cycling for all to enjoy and try-out, and finally, music – listen out for uber fresh sounds and feel-good tunes by DJ X.G.

The Open Farm Community is located at 130E Minden Road, Singapore, 248819
