JETSTAR FLIES SINGAPOREANS HOME FOR NATIONAL DAY
With over 200,000 Singaporeans living abroad, Jetstar is on a mission to bridge the distance between families by giving 25 lucky overseas Singaporeans based in the Asia Pacific region, the chance to come home and celebrate one of the nation’s biggest milestones.
Singaporeans can nominate their loved ones living abroad by heading to the Jetstar Asia Facebook page. The most compelling nominations will win a trip home for the nominee.
The nomination period has commenced and will end on 26 April 2015, followed by the announcement of winners one week later. The 25 selected Singaporeans will receive return flight tickets back to Singapore.

ART TRANSFORMS SINGAPORE RIVER UNDERPASS
SINGAPORE RIVER ONE (SRO) is partnering with HEWLETT PACKARD (HP) and RAFFLES DESIGN INSTITUTE (RDI) for the transformation of Singapore River Underpass Art Installation leading towards Singapore’s 50th Anniversary
in April 2015.
The theme of the underpass art installations will be focused on the birth of Singapore, presenting through two mural artworks along the Elgin Bridge underpass. Since the underpass leads to the shop houses along Boat Quay, the artworks will mirror the past of these shop houses.

All six designs are original works that were illustrated, sketched or drawn by the public from the junior category (in partnership with Little Magazine), Student category (in partnership with Raffles Design Institute) and Open Category (in partnership with SAFRA) . Designs fit into two themes ‘My Singapore Memory’ and ‘Creating Memories – Singapore National Service’.
