CreerBeaute : Makeup from Japan by Bandai

Direct from the pages of Japanese Anime, the makeup line that is inspired by manga such as The Rose of Versailles and Sailor Moon and is under the cosmetic arm of Bandai (famous for toy and video games) is now available in selected Watsons Stores on our beautiful island.

We went along to the official launch and were treated to, not only a table full of CreerBeaute products that we put to the test but also expert tips and demonstrations by Mawaki Yamamoto, Japanase Makeup Artist.

We tried products from the CreerBeaute Rose de Versailles range including:-

Lady Oscar Liquid Eyeliner

The winner in the eyeliner series of the Japan Beauty award @ Cosme for two consecutive years (2010 & 2011) has an ultra fine tip of 0.1 mm making for ease and precise lines, it is fast drying, long lasting and water resistant.

La Rose de Versailles Eyebrow pencils

Available in 01 Dark Brown and 02 Light Brown, so you can find your perfect match shade, this newly launched eyebrow pencil has a very smooth texture and is waterproof.

Lady Oscar Liquid Eyeliner EX

The Japan Beauty award @ cosme 2012 saw this liquid eyeliner championing the eyeliner series.  Why?  We think it’s because the solid colour it creates has an anti-sweat and sebum formula making the eyeliner smudge proof and long lasting.  The wild rose oil and rose water care for the eye area too.

We then moved into the Miracle Romance range, the signature range of CreerBeaute, where we found products including:-

Miracle Romance Star Power Prism Pencilliner (White)

The shimmery powder gives watery, bright and fresh-looking eyes.  It is your ideal tool to line the waterline to open up eyes.  The creamy texture has ease of application, is waterproof, anti-sweat and is super long lasting!

Miracle Romance Star Power Prism Lameliner(Gold / Green)

The evening’s makeup artist, Mawaki Yamamoto explained and demonstrated that this a ‘less is more’ product.  Apply your regular black eyeliner in your usual way and then add the Star Power Prism Lameliner in choice of Gold or Green just to your outer corner.  This look is modern and adds sparkle to the eyes.

The Bandai cosmetic subsidiary, CreerBeaute has also introduced a range of men’s products such as the Dragon Ball Z Hair Wax series and plans to continue developing their Japanese Anime ranges.

CreerBeaute is now available at selected Watsons Stores.
The Rose of Versailles range can be found at Jurong Point, Vivo City, Ngee Ann City, Asia Square,
Compass Point, Parkway Parade, Junction 8, Causeway Point, Yew Tee Point and West Mall.
Miracle Romance range is found at the 49 Watsons Stores with Japanese Corners.
