ION Orchard Celebrates 5th Anniversary

This 5th Anniversary event at ION Orchard will see the mall’s outdoor space transformed into an open-air fashion concert venue taking place on the 17 October at 7pm. This highly anticipated signature event by ION Orchard is a time when fashion, music and lifestyle blend together at the delight of fashion and music lovers as well as shoppers alike.

ION Orchard’s 5th Anniversary spotlight event, fashion concert, will feature music from American rock sensation Chris Daughtry and fashion pieces on the runway show from brands such as Alice & Olivia, BCBG MaxAzria, Bimba & Lola, BOSS, Guess, H&M, Karen Millen, Ted Baker, Sandro, Warehouse and Zara.

Further adding star power to ION Orchard 5th Anniversary celebrations is Taiwanese pop princess, Elva Hsiao who will perform at a by-invitation red carpet gala event taking place on 16th October. The Mandopop songbird will take to the stage at ION Orchard’s Level 1 Atrium space where hoppers can enjoy the glitz and glamour of the evening from several vantage points in the mall.

This 5th anniversary celebration is also a time when ION Orchard will care and share with the less fortunate in their first collaboration with the National Council of Social Service (NCSS) to benefit the Movement for the Intellectually Disabled (MINDS). This spirit of sharing will see ION Orchard holding a charity auction for a special painting completed through the joint efforts of individuals from Singapore Association for Mental Health, beneficiaries from Community Chest-supported MINDS Towner Garden School and celebrities Chris Daughtry and Elva Hsiao. The proceeds from this charity auction will go towards helping more than 300,000 people under the care of Community Chest, including children with special needs and youths-at-risk, people with disabilities, the elderly and families facing difficulties.
