Many of us grew up with Hello Kitty and would at least own a plush doll or stationary etc.  The world’s famous feline character Hello Kitty is so popular that there are many Hello Kitty merchandise like Hello Kitty Cameras (by Casio) and even Hello Kitty sewing machines (by Brother).

Ladies who are big fan of the legendary icon Hello Kitty will get to celebrate her 40th Birthday in Singapore with the Inaugural Hello Kitty Run on 1 November 2014.  The only Hello Kitty birthday bash in Southeast Asia will flag off to a 15,000 fans crowd celebrating Hello Kitty’s birthday singing a birthday song with one-of-a-kind birthday cake.

The Hello Kitty Run Singapore was so well received that 15,000 spots have all been snapped up within 24hours after registration opened.  The  five kilometre Hello Kitty Run Singapore is open to participants of all ages and be covering iconic landmarks around the city.

Hello Kitty was created 40 years ago by Sanrio, the legendary icon is the world’s most famous feline character and aims to bring love, happiness and encourage the forging of friendships and sharing across the world.  Hello Kitty is well liked by everyone old and young, she is especially popular among little girls.  It is no wonder, the Hello Kitty Run Singapore registration closed after 24hours due to overwhelming response.The purpose of the run is gather Hello Kitty fans and non-Hello Kitty fans to join in a big day out to celebrate Hello Kitty’s 40th mega birthday bash. What a way to celebrate a birthday with a scenic run in Singapore.  All participants are entitled to an exclusive runner’s t-shirt and a special edition commemorative Hello Kitty plush toy.  What’s more, there will be a Hello Kitty Village where post-race fringe activities for all participants will take place.

The Hello Kitty Run Singapore is on 1 November 2014, Saturday at 8:30am.
