Back for it’s seventh edition, the Singapore Toy, Game and Comic Convention (STGCC) is set to be the coolest event of 2014 as it’s loyal fans from Singapore and the region are treated to vibrant international content from the East and West.

With a strong line-up of pop culture personalities, the STGCC at Marina Bay Sands this 6 – 7 September 2014 will present  Singapore audiences with the likes of these multi-talented artists:-

  • Humberto Ramos –with distinct manga style artwork, starting in 2003 with work on both Peter Parker and Spectacular Spiderman for Marvel Comics, Ramos is currently working on the Amazing Spider-Man series.
  • Alex Solis – known also as alexmdc in the T-shirt world, Alex is one of the most successful artists on Threadless.
  • Simone Legno – an Italian with an undying passion for Japanese culture and creator of the popular tokidokibrand, that has become a popular staple of STGCC.
  • Tomokazu Sugita – this famous voice actor behind roles likeGintoki of Gintama andKyon from HaruhiSusumiyawill see his debut appearance at STGCC 2014 as well as his first trip to meet fans in Southeast Asia.
  • Cameron Stewart and David Mack – working together on an highly anticipated comic book series Fight Club 2 (debut in May 2015), the pair will meet fans who already know them for works such as Mack’s Daredevil from Marvel Comics and Stewart’s writing and drawing skills from the Assissin’s Creed series including Assassin’s Creed: The
  • ShirahaneNao (aka Dmyo) (illustrator) and Stayxxxx (female cosplayer).
  • Olivier Coipel – is the comic book artist who has worked on the likes of Legion of Super Heroes as well as creating the look of the God of Thunder Thor.  Coipel is currently working on a top secret Marvel project.
  • Frank Kozik – an entirely self-taught artist who has worked closely with Kidrobot and other boutique toy companies to create over 500 different limited edition fitures.
  • Andy Price – lead penciller and ink artist for the wildly popular My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic comic book.  Making his debut in Asia at this year’s STGCC.
  • KakotoKedouin (Kedwin) – writer of Corpse Party whose popularity has spawned titles in many other games, manga and original video animation (ovm).  His bringing horror to Singapore at this STGCC 2014.
  • haLRu (Monomind) – (music).
  • Estha (Geographic) – (music).
  • Harvey Tolibao – having worked with Marvelon several projects, he is currently working on the book X-Men V4 and comic book series GhostTolibao is also launching a brand new Home of Multi-talent (HMT) Studios artbook at the STGCC 2014 to inspire other artists.

Tickets are priced at S$19 for a one-day pass and S$25 for a two-day pass.  
Tickets can be purchased at selected authorized retail outlets and at the event itself.  
STGCC 2014 will take place on 6 and 7 September 2014 at Marina Bay Sands.
