LIFETIME CHANNEL NOVEMBER TV HIGHLIGHTS
There’s always something to watch and keep us entertained on the Lifetime Channel (StarHub ch 514) and this November 2014 sees some fabulous series premiering as well as some wonderful must see Lifetime Movies.
Red Band Society – will premier on Thursday 13 November at 9pm. This dramedy series follows a group of rule-bending friends and the adults who mentor them through the ups and downs of adolescence in Los Angeles’ Ocean Park Hospital. From strong friendships, and first loves, to humorous mishaps and heartbreak, the series is a story of life, with an edgy comedic tone all of its own.
The Ellen DeGeneres Show – weekdays, Monday 8.30pm and Tuesday – Friday 8.00pm. Known for her laughter and bringing fun to her show, Ellen speaks to celebrity guests, musical performers and ordinary people with extraordinary talents.
Married at First Sight – will premier on Wednesday, 19 November at 9.00pm. This is an indepth look at the casting process for this ground breaking social experiment, where a team of relationship experts, set out to arrange three marriages. A Casting Special episode will first premier at 9pm with episodes following on 19 November and each Wednesday at 10pm.
The Mentor – Tuesday, 11 November at 9.00pm – At her new job, Elizabeth is assigned a mentor, Paul Allenham, who is hiding a deep dark violent past. Paul has an immediate and unsettling attraction to Elizabeth and will do anything to secure her love.
Presumed Dead in Paradise – Tuesday 18 November at 9.00pm – Patricia is invited by her estranged stepmother to a holiday. She soon discovers that this vacation isn’t what it seems, and that she’s in fact embroiled in a dark conspiracy that involves her late father.
A Country Christmas Christmas Story – Tuesday, 25 November at 9.00pm – The musical icon and multiple Grammy Award winner, Dolly Parton and R&B singer and producer, Brian McKnight star in Lifetimes first Christmas movie. This Lifetime original movie follows a young Appalachian mountain girl as she pursues her dream of becoming a country star against the wishes of her mother. Her journey to the stage at Hollywood with a singing competition hosted by Dolly Parton reunites her with her musician father (McKnight) and uncovers the musical legacy of African Americans in the world of country music.
